Q & A

What does home mean to you?

Home for me is somewhere I can relax, unwind and enjoy gathering with friends and family. I love to host, entertain, and have my loved ones over as often as possible!

Why do you love helping people find/sell their home?

Seeing client’s light up with excitement on possession day or when they sell their home is always the greatest feeling. I love being a part of their experience, whether it be finding the right home or selling to move on to somewhere new. Being there for others to provide guidance, support, and encouragement is important to me in both my professional and personal life.

Why did you decide to become a realtor?

Finding a career that is collaborative, engaging, and challenging has always been my goal. I’ve worked in a number of 9-5 jobs, however I found that I was really longing to connect with others and engage in my community, which I now get to do every day as a realtor. In real estate, every day is different and although it can be stressful at times, it’s a rewarding career when you love what you do!

What is unique about your approach?

I am an active listener and always take the time to discover my clients' needs and what approach works best for them. It's important to me that I take the time to understand my clients well so that I know what their goals are and how I can best help them.

Why do you love living on the South Island?

The South Island is an incredible place to live, which is why I ended up staying after I finished my studies. Whether you want to see a concert, art show, explore the provincial parks and trails, or check out incredible restaurants, there truly is something for everyone here. As someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, the South Island feels like a paradise because you're always close to beautiful trails and adventures.

How would you describe your clients?

I love meeting new clients and getting to know their story and why they are looking to make a change. Many clients that I work with are first time home owners or young families, however I also love helping empty nesters and retirees looking for their next home.
