In order to comply with Verity Constructions COVID Showing Policy we require that all Realtors review the attached information sheet prior to showing.


Whenever possible, real estate professionals trying to show homes should continue to try and limit in person contact as much as possible. Please try to offer virtual viewings when possible.

If a virtual viewing is not possible or it has come time for an in-person viewing, the following protocols are to be followed:

Realtors who are showing the Showhome or ANY homes currently under construction, must receive confirmation either verbally or in writing from their client before hand that they have done a personal health check for the following symptoms are showing NO signs of:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Loss of sense of smell or taste

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Sore throat

  • Loss of appetite

  • Extreme fatigue or tiredness

  • Headache

  • Body aches

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

Advise all parties that if they develop symptoms, they are to cancel the showing immediately.

As part of a COVID tracking requirement Verity Construction Ltd. requires an email to be sent, prior to any showing, with the names of everyone that will be at the showing along with a declaration stating “Everyone has completed and passed their COVID health checks”. Emails can be sent to

There will be a bottle of sanitizer at the front entrance of our showhome for all parties to sanitize their hands before entering the building.

Verity Construction Ltd. requires that all parties entering the building wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines as laid out by the provincial health authority whenever possible.

Verity Construction Ltd. limits the number of people in a building during a showing to three. One Realtor & two potential Buyers. After the showing of the building, Verity Construction asks all parties to complete any after showing meetings outside or virtually whenever possible.

Virtual Home Finding

In support of social distancing, our team is available to show properties through video conferencing. All our current listings and on our website, many with Virtual Tour links. Our Showhomes are closed but are available for viewing exclusively by appointment. Please contact your realtor for details.

The New Home Buying Process

Over the next months, we will reduce the number of people who may need to attend our sites exclusively to necessary visits, including final walk-throughs and key-delivery.  We will continue to serve you by using phone, email, facetime or zoom!


All offers and contract documents will be presented virtually and authorized using your electronic signature via DocuSign. Handling sales virtually is nothing new to us!


Homeowners and prospective buyers that are waiting for the completion of a new home can be confident that construction work is progressing, and that construction has been designated as an essential service in the province of British Columbia. Though there are unique immediate challenges related to COVID-19 and new construction, we are anticipating continuing to build in a safe matter and greatly appreciate our clients, friends and family during this unique time.
